Smiles and Tears Children and Family Services prepares families to nurture and mentor children, including those transitioning into independence. We are committed to strengthening the foster care community through compassion, training, and unwavering support.

Who We Are

We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization fully state and nationally accredited to approve Resource/Adoptive Foster Families and serve children ages 0-21 years old. Established in 2015, Smiles and Tears Children and Family Services focuses on recruiting and training quality families of all ethnicities in Southern California to provide love and nurture to all children in need who are in the Foster Care System. We also prepare families to be parents, mentors, and guides to the Non-Minor Dependents who need extra support in the process of emancipating in safe communities. Our intent has always been to bring positive change to the foster care community, and we take pride in the families that currently are certified in our agency and are extremely proud of our efforts and the outpouring of support from the community. The agency offers training and support FREE of charge.
