Smiles and Tears CFS focuses on recruiting and training quality families of all ethnicities in Southern California to provide love and nurturing to children from 0-21. We also prepare families to be parents, mentors, and guides to the Non-Minor Dependents who need extra support in the process of emancipating in safe communities.

Established in 2015, our intent from the beginning has been to bring positive change to the foster care community. Our organization has fought tooth and nail to revitalize the hard work of foster parents. We take pride in the families that currently are certified in our agency. It’s an ongoing process but one that has been fruitful.

We are extremely proud of our efforts and the outpour of support from the community in response to our call. It’s fantastic to see new interested families inquiring about the certification process. It is amazing how people from all backgrounds are caring for children in their homes and make them feel part of the family.

That is what Smiles and Tears Children and Family Services Foster Family Agency is supposed to be about and look like — and we’re glad to be part of it as a team.
